Day 1: Arrival into Washington DC
- Morning Flight to Washington DC
- Visit the inspirational Museum of the Bible and learn the narrative, history, and impact of The Bible in a series of specialized exhibits. This includes a virtual reality tour of the lands of the Bible and a special “flight” around the US Capitol. This revolutionary ride highlights the Bible’s presence permanently etched into some of our national monuments and landmarks.
- Vvisit the Eisenhower Memorial across the street.
- Visit the historic town of Old Town Alexandria. Walk the beautiful streets and follow in the footsteps of many of our Founding Fathers. Dine at one of the restaurants in this historic space for dinner tonight, with an upgraded menu for the adults!
- See iconic memorials! Learn about Martin Luther King, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Thomas Jefferson
Day 2: Reflection and Democracy
- Reflect at the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial
- Spend the remainder of the morning in one of the most visited, 7 story, Smithsonian Museums – the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Enjoy lunch (included) at Sweet Home Cafe.
- Visit Capitol Hill! After a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol Building, marvel at the interior of the Library of Congress; and take a picture of the U.S. Supreme Court.
- Grab a slice, some wings, and some of the best meatballs at Nighthawk for dinner tonight.
- Enjoy a Cultural Event tonight
Day 3: Arlington Cemetery, George Washington & Legends
- Pay your respects at Arlington National Cemetery to the hundreds of thousands of brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country. See the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and reflect on the true meaning of sacrifice while Taps is played to honor the fallen soldiers. A special wreath laying ceremony will be planned for your group!
- Learn about the tragic events that caused the Holocaust as you visit the Holocaust Memorial Museum
- Debrief and grab a photo at the most recognized monument in DC, the Washington Monument!
- Visit more amazing memorials, including the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial
- Students will finish the evening with at Bowlero where they will eat, bowl, and play in the arcade! Adults will be treated to a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant
Day 4: White House, Ford’s Theater, and Departure
- Grab your selfie at the White House and learn the stories that helped build the iconic home
- Explore one of the newest attractions in Washington DC – People’s House, A White House Experience. This interactive, tech forward exhibit will let you feel as if you were standing in the White House!
- Explore Ford’s Theater and learn about the tragic events that happened in the area.
- Grab some Souvenirs before having lunch and departing for the aiport
- Afternoon flights home.
