Plus, you’ll make scenic stops along the way, from Galway to Belfast and the iconic Cliffs of Moher. The Dingle Peninsula & Killarney National Park are highlights of this incredible journey! PROPOSED ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE INTO EDINBURGH

  • Arrive at your own pace – tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner at a local pub!

DAY 2: EXPLORE EDINBURGH

  • Enjoy a Panoramic City Tour with your local guide.
  • Enjoy sights such as the Royal Mile, the Princes Street Gardens, Calton Hill and many more!

DAY 3: IT’S HIGHLANDS DAY!

  • On our way to Glasgow, we travel through Trossachs National Park, taking us through quintessential Scottish scenery, with rolling hills, deep glens, and the expansive Loch Lomond—Great Britain’s largest lake!
  • We complete our day with a visit to Inverary Castle and a well deserved included meal.

DAY 4: HIGHLANDS TO GLASGOW

  • Today, we enjoy a city tour, including George Square & the River Clyde
  • Visit the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum – one of Scotland’s most popular museums

DAY 5: BELFAST BY FERRY

  • We take a 2.5 hour ferry from Scotland to Belfast
  • Upon arrival, we get to know the area and are free to explore on our own! Game of Thrones Studio tour anyone?
  • Enjoy an included dinner with your fellow travelers

DAY 6: BELFAST EXPLORATION

  • Enjoy a walking tour of Belfast, exploring the historic city, cobblestone streets and local crafts.
  • We then visit Titanic Belfast, which recreates the story of the world’s most famous ship in an iconic, six floor building right beside the historic site of the original ship’s construction.

DAY 7: BELFAST TO GALWAY

  • Today is a driving day – but don’t worry, your driver and guide know all the best stops along the way!
  • You depart Belfast and journey to Galway. 
  • Along the way, we stop for a traditional Irish lunch! Stops along the way for stretching, shopping and picture taking. 
  • Enjoy a traditional Irish lunch – Irish Stew anyone?
  • Arriving in Galway, enjoy the “most Irish town in Ireland”. Because of that “Irish-ness” you find a lot of things to do in Galway. Be ready to party!

DAY 8: QUINTESSENTIAL IRELAND!

  • We start off this morning with a walking tour of Galway
  • We then travel via the Burren to the amazing Cliffs of Moher – this is the day you truly feel Ireland
  • We experience Bunratty Castle, and the park where 19th century life is vividly recreated
  • Enjoy a four-course meal with red & white wine. This is followed by entertainment accompanied by harp and violin. An evening that is sure to leave memories of a lifetime!
  • Overnight Limerick

DAY 9: DINGLE TO KILLARNEY

  • This morning, enjoy some of the finest coastal scenery to be seen in Ireland as we travel through the Dingle Peninsula!
  • Visit Gallarus Oratory, the areas most impressive early Christian monument
  • Travel through Killarney National Park with amazing coastal scenery; forts, beaches & castles

DAY 10: KISSING THE BLARNEY!

  • We stop at the medieval Blarney Castle, home of the famous Blarney Stone – pucker up!
  • Travel on to Dublin, get aquainted to the area and enjoy a free evening to explore and enjoy a pint!

DAY 11: EXPLORE DUBLIN

  • Enjoy a walking tour of Dublin – learn it’s history, see it’s famous landmarks and enjoy it’s vibrancy
  • Visit the iconic St. Patricks Cathedral!
  • The rest of the day is yours – tour the Guiness Factory or perhaps whiskey is more your speed? Jameson Distillery won’t disappoint!
  • Enjoy your Farewell Dinner with your fellow travels

  • We encourage you to pay by bank transfer, which is extremely easy to set up. The tour price is based on paying directly from your bank; paying by credit card will incur an extra 2.9% fee (charged by the processor).

  • We are committed above all to the health and safety of your student, and will follow all local and national CDC guidelines for travel.

 

Preferred Travel Protection Plan

  • We offer travel insurance as part of travel protection plans from our partner TripAssure.
  • To cover you for the unforeseen, we encourage participants to purchase travel insurance, which may include benefits for trip cancellation, trip interruption, missed connection, travel delay, medical expense/emergency evacuation, baggage and personal effects, baggage delay and more. 
  • Covid-19 and its various strains are treated the same as any other Sickness under the travel protection plan.
