Day 1: Travel to Washington, D.C. – Foundations of Faith and Leadership
Depart from Dallas and enjoy lunch upon arrival. Reflect on service and legacy at the Eisenhower Memorial. Visit the Museum of the Bible to connect history with faith. Pause for a photo at the White House, then enjoy dinner and evening views of D.C.’s iconic memorials, letting the city’s story inspire your own journey.
Day 2: Honor, Service & Remembrance
Begin with a solemn moment at Arlington National Cemetery, witnessing a student led Wreath Laying Ceremony in honor of sacrifice and service. Visit the Marine Corps Memorial for the iconic photo. Reflect on courage and resilience at the Pentagon’s 9/11 Memorial and the Holocaust Memorial Museum. Conclude with the Spy Museum and an evening of dinner and memorial lights, pondering the ways faith and duty intersect.
Day 3: Government, Knowledge & Inspiration
Tour the U.S. Capitol and Library of Congress, considering the principles that guide our nation. Be sure to take a picture in front of the Supreme Court! Later, we visit the National Archives and explore a Smithsonian Museum or two, drawing inspiration from human creativity and perseverance. Dinner and a fun evening activity provide fellowship and reflection on the day’s learnings.
Day 4: Welcome to New York City – Faith in the Midst of the City
Arrive in NYC and enjoy lunch. Walk through Central Park, admiring the tranquility compared to the hustle and bustle of the city. Take in Midtown Manhattan highlights: 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square. Dinner and evening views from an observation deck invite moments of gratitude and awe.
Day 5: Liberty, Reflection & Broadway
Ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, reflecting on freedom and hope. Tour the Financial District after lunch, then pause at the 9/11 Memorial to remember lives lost and lessons learned. Spend time in Times Square, followed by dinner and of course, a Broadway show!
Day 6: Farewell to the City – Journey and Reflection
Explore a museum or neighborhood of the groups choice—Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Little Italy, or walk the Brooklyn Bridge to take in breathtaking views. On your final motorcoach ride through Manhattan, reflect on the experiences and connections made. Enjoy dinner at the airport before your evening flight home, carrying faith, inspiration, and gratitude with you.
